OPUS MIND products are made of upcycled leather. Not only is the material improving the environment by providing a solution to waste, its production is achieved with up to 60% reduction of CO2 emission.

The resulting upcycled leather is finished with a waterproof coat that increases its strength and durability.

HOW DO YOU TAKE CARE OF IT?

With the finish coating, the upcycled leather is inherently resilient. Though it requires little ongoing care, occasional cleaning with a dry cloth is necessary to maintain an attractive luster.

OPUS MIND products have a Lifetime Warranty; we stand behind our quality and craftsmanship of all our products.

Our backpacks are sewn by hand and might contain some slight variations and imperfections.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE LIFETIME WARRANTY?

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship are covered, notwithstanding age. If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship we will repair the bag at our discretion.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

Damages not covered are those resulting from abuse, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and cosmetic damages that do not affect the functionality of the bag (such as scratches or stained fabrics). Any damage to, loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses are not covered.

HOW TO PROCEED?

Please email us at hello@opusmind.com and we will send you a form for repair services and/or warranty claim.After completing and submitting, you will receive an email with instructions and your repair requests to print out. A repair number will be generated and will need to be included with the bag when you send it in for repairs. Send us the bag including a copy of the email including the Repair numberPlease send the bag to the address provided in the repair details email. Be sure to write your repair number on the outside of your package. We recommend using the least expensive shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number and insurance.

OPUS MIND is not responsible for parcels lost in transit.

Package up your bag, include a copy of the repair email.Write the repair number on the outside of the package  (W-XXXXXXX).Please keep in mind that California State law requires that all items accepted for repair be freshly cleaned. Help us provide a clean and safe environment for our employees. If we determine that your bag needs to be cleaned, we will return it to you without preforming the repair(s). We do not offer cleaning services. Once your item arrives, our repair team will evaluate your claim within 7-10 business days and determine if the issues can be repaired and what is covered under the Lifetime Warranty.  Because pictures don't tell the whole story, and we want to give your claim the best possible evaluation, warranty assessments are only preformed in person once our repair team receives your bag.  If the claim issues are covered by the lifetime warranty your bag will be repaired. If your repair requests include repairable issues are not covered by the lifetime warranty, we will reach out via email with the repair fee and shipping costs if any. Non-covered items will not be repaired without these costs being covered. Repairs not paid for will be returned un-repaired after 15 days.

At OPUS MIND, we are committed to a Circular Fashion which means finding solution for end-of-life products by closing the loop.

We hope you enjoy for as long as possible your upcycled bag and in the case of damages, we will help you repair it, in order to reuse it.

However, the end-of-life of our products do arises and we are committed to making it a sources of valuable resources for other new products. Therefore, if you believe your product has reach its end, please contact us at hello@opusmind.com for instructions.

In the case that your product is repairable, we will coordinate with you to have it repaired. Please refer to WARRANTY to assess if covered under our Lifetime Warranty service.

ORDERS

OPUS MIND’s mission to stand for a Circular Fashion extends to advocating a Zero Waste mindset. Our intention is to lower unnecessary waste. Though, packaging is an important part of keeping products in good condition, some brands do overly do it.

We use only post-consumer recycled material to package our items and we ask that you simply reuse them. Extending the usage is a mean to lower waste. In the case you do not need it anymore, please recycle them, or send them back to us, we will gladly recycled them for you.

We all love receiving gifts!  So, we give you the option to gift wrap it or not. This mean a post-consumer recycled craft box will be included in the packaging.

WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?

We offer pre-order as a way to reserve a bag in advance of our upcoming product delivery, with the understanding that it will ship at a later date than when you purchase. We produce in small batches with limited quantities, therefore, pre-ordering will assure a piece will be reserved to you.

Please note that payment is due at the time of purchase, and you will receive a shipping notification once the order is on its way to you.

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF THE ORDER?

You will receive an email confirmation with shipping status. Once you’ve receive the shipping confirmation email, you will have the ability to track your package on the corresponding shipping carrier’s website.

CAN I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY ORDER?

We process and complete orders as quickly as possible. If you have any modification requests or need to cancel, please contact us at hello@opusmind.com as soon as possible after placing your order.
